Great company a while back last year I bought several of there inshore lure kits with there segmented baitfish lures and am very pleased with the results tge fish can't seem to stop hitting them have caught numerous trout refs and flounder on them these are the 3 main species that inshore anglers here in northeast florida jacksonville st augustine pursue it is a northeast slam also there paddletails that come with the kit are the perfect size for winter fishing and work great whether trolling them or casting thanks for the awesome products you make😀👍
Awesome gear, great company. Marea gear consistently outperforms others in my tackle box. The attention to detail in both design and craftsmanship is evident in every lure I’ve used. Plenty of options to choose from with vibrant colors and realistic action in the water. Highly recommend.
The different inshore baits have always been incredibly effective year-round. My particular favorite is the jointed swim bait. It’s durable as heck but swims with a lot of flex. What really impressed me recently was that same jointed swim bait on the Marea dredge. The collection of these hookless lures on the dredge mimics a swimming school of baitfish more accurately than any other imitation I’ve ever seen. Recently, I was fishing a sailfish tournament in South Florida, mainly kite fishing. We were mainly drifting, but the strong running current made us think that the dredge would work. Lo and behold, we dropped the dredge 3 times about 50 feet down, reeled it up and tossed a bait on a flatline near it. Each time, a sailfish followed it up and smashed the flat bait. Every boat around us was having zero activity on the kites, and the dredge is what saved us. Cannot say enough good things about this company, the quality and the results.
Love the 7.5” motion minnow for freshwater stripers here in TN. They are great in the spring fishing just under the surface when the stripers are feeding on the shallow points in the mornings and evenings. They also work well when you use side imaging in the summer and find the fish suspended in 20-40 feet of water. You can throw the motion minnow past the fish, let it sink and work it with a stop/go action thru the school of fish. The striper can be pretty hard on many fresh water lure’s hooks and split rings and I have even had them bust the bodies of some topwater baits but these Marea’s lures hold up like champs!
